The process of self-cleaning is started by a differential pressure switch that monitors the pressure between the filter inlet and outlet at all times. Normally the set value of the differential pressure switch is 0.5Bar (7psi).

The process of self-cleaning is started by a differential pressure switch that monitors the pressure between the filter inlet and outlet at all times. Normally the set value of the differential pressure switch is 0.5Bar (7psi).
Working Principle
When the differential pressure reach the set value, the filter starts the process of self-cleaning: the drain outlet located on the top end of filter will open and the motor drives the cleaning brushes to carry out axial cleaning, by which the impurities are brushed down and discharged by the water flow to the drain outlet.
The whole process of self-cleaning takes about 15 ~ 60 seconds, and during the process of self-cleaning, the filtration system is work continuously.
Operation of the brush type automatic self-cleaning filter is controlled by the equipped intelligent control system.
